ABCAN Seed Fund The ABCAN Seed Fund offers small grants to help inspire local climate action across Argyll and Bute. It’s designed to support community-led ideas, build momentum, and help people try something practical in their area. ABCAN Seed Fund now open! ABCAN's Climate Action Fund (Round 8) is now open, with grants of £50 to £1,000 available for community-led climate projects across Argyll and Bute. Applications close on 2nd August, so if you've got an idea, apply via the Argyll and Bute TSI Funding Portal. What the Seed Fund is for The Seed Fund is here to help communities: Test new ideas and learn what works locally Build confidence and skills to take action Bring people together around a shared goal Make it easier to take the first steps, even with a small budget What it can support Seed funding can be a great fit for projects that are: Led by local people or community groups Practical and achievable Focused on positive local change Designed to involve others (even in small ways) Examples could include things like community events, training, small bits of equipment, materials, publicity, venue hire, or pilot activities that help you get started.
