ABCAN works to support young people, schools and youth organisations to take climate action, build skills, and connect learning with real local opportunities across Argyll and Bute.

What we’re doing

We work with partners to help create clear “pathways” for young people, linking climate learning to practical action, local jobs and future opportunities.

This includes supporting climate conversations with young people, sharing useful resources, and helping schools and youth groups connect with others working on climate action locally.

Who this is for

You’re welcome to get in touch if you’re:

  • a young person who wants to take action in your area
  • part of a school, Eco Committee or youth group
  • a teacher, youth worker or educator looking for ideas or support
  • a local employer or organisation who could offer insight, talks, visits or opportunities

Ways to get involved

Depending on what’s happening at the time, you might be able to:

  • join sessions or workshops
  • share what your school or youth group is already doing
  • connect with partner organisations working on learning and careers
  • help shape what support would be most useful next

Stay connected

Most updates, opportunities and shared resources are posted through ABCAN on Mighty Network.
