ACT are now pleased to offer the environmental consultancy services ACT Ecology as part of our work on the Isles of Islay and Jura. Through our work for the past 6 years in both the CANN project and our recently launched ACT Peatland Initiative, we have built a wealth of experience in delivering monitoring and habitat restoration of the islands. We wish to put these skills to use beyond our current projects to deliver a service for the ever growing demand for reliable, knowledgeable consultation in the local landscape.

We have a wide-ranging skillset with expertise in:

  • Peatland habitats and their management – peat depth surveys, site condition assessments, herbivore impact assessments and more.
  • Invasive species – advice on removal, overseeing projects, future management plans.
  • Ornithological monitoring – breeding bird and vantage points surveys.
  • And much more

Whether your enquiry be for planning applications, land management or research purposes, please email us on [email protected] with details of requirements to see how we can help.
