Current vacancies

Outdoor Nursery Practitioners and ASN assistant

Do you want to share your skills, enthusiasm and love of the outdoors with our children and their families? Can you facilitate opportunities for children to lead their own learning in an environment where they feel safe and secure? If so, come and join us!

We are recruiting full and part-time practitioners and an ASN assistant to deliver high quality early learning and childcare at Kilmory Walled Garden in Lochgilphead.  As part of our team you will plan, deliver, record and evaluate nature based learning experiences where children can develop respect for others and the world around them.   You should have some experience of pre-school childcare, outdoor learning, forest schools, and nature based activities, although you do not need to be a specialist in everything!  We can provide training, and will share skills.  You should have, be working towards or be willing to work towards, an SVQ 3 (Children and Young People) or equivalent.

The ASN assistant role is 6 hours per day on Mondays and Tuesdays during term-time. The outdoor practitioner roles have flexible hours with full and term-time options.

For more information about MAKI Pups and outdoor learning, please visit our webpage and for further details please email MAKI Pups Nursery Manager Erin Kennedy, [email protected], or phone 07741582560.
