ACT Now is a brand new climate change awareness project that will offer free support to help Mid Argyll communities to adopt strategies to tackle climate change by reducing impacts on our environment. Project activities will include a series of low carbon workshops such as local food, cookery, bike repair, tool upcycling and low carbon travel options. The project will facilitate discussions about climate change by engaging, inspiring and educating to raise awareness and support people to make changes.

If you have a love of the outdoors and are committed to the ideals of carbon reduction at a community level we would love to hear from you. The position is funded through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund.  The post is 28 hours per week for 2 years, based in Lochgilphead.
